clown hall

* wapo front page about that pentagonflash thingy that paul sent thru recently. "Conspiracy Theories Flourish on the Internet"... its weird that they even wrote an article about 911 conspiracists - where was the last time u read a mainstream article about it? never. even that nyczogby poll didnt get a mention in the media. they must be getting a lil nervous.... in case u dont know what to make of the conspiracy talk - people who beleive are like this: "Knight-Jadczyk, 52, a Florida native, has been a psychic and a channeler. She is now involved in experiments in what she calls "superluminal communication," which she described as involving "time loops" that would enable people to communicate with their former selves."

* "The Manhattan district attorney's office said yesterday that it would not prosecute cases against 227 protesters who were arrested in one of the most disputed demonstrations of the Republican National Convention, saying it would be difficult to prove that the protesters had deliberately defied orders." this kinda reminds me of the Tasty raids in melbourne that night way back when. kinda. the tasty crew all sued the police and won. somehow i think we've gotta bigger problems than unlawful arrest. which is sad.

* to prove that murdoch has a sense of fairness and balance (or a sense of humour) the lead in todays (election day) paper is "Latham within striking distance" - i dont have the words...
