globule test

* i wonder if we'll get a suspiciously strong employment report friday, b4 the debates.

* "In an audacious challenge to government secrecy policy, a forthcoming new book by independent analyst William M. Arkin exposes and explains thousands of code names of secret government programs and activities... His latest book, Code Names, is perhaps the most concentrated act of defiance of official secrecy policies since Howard Morland wrote about "The H Bomb Secret" in The Progressive in 1979" http://www.fas.org/sgp/news/secrecy/2004/10/100104.html

* 'wearing badges is not enough, in days like these'

* btw - i thought kerry's 'more of the same' was oddly effective - even tho it grossly underestimates the damage that 43 2.0 will cause. (and if he doesnt drop the 'i have x words for you' schtick, ill personally throttle him - im not sure what rhetorical purpose it serves, and it leaves everyone kinda nervous cos you arent quite sure whether youre sposed to know whats about to come out his mouth (even though you can be somewhat confident that there will be x words))

* rumsfled said 'theres no link between alq and saddam' and somehow it was the top story on even the beeb - and the piece went for 5 mins. um - everyone knew that except cheney.?? beeb: 'the comments cast a doubt about whether there was ever a connection' ummmmmmm

* it seems that the rathermemos might actually be real, and that the whole 'proportional font' thingy is a red herring. it seems that in the latest bush/guard records that were released last week, there was a memo which used all the things that were purportedly dubious in the rathermemos - which is presumably why the shitehouse held onto that document till after memogate. nice. http://www.glcq.com/set_up.htm and http://www.bluelemur.com/index.php?p=324

* why did mmoore turn down the dox i wonder. he did some font analysis? i wonder why he hasnt mentioned it before... (and apparently only this once) (kinda like the berg thing) - it would have been nice media for the dvd release. and he could emphasise how factual 911 is and remind people that there isnt a single error that has been outed etc.

* heres mmoores only blog mention of Rather: "Later today (Wed.), the Boston Globe, the A.P. and Dan Rather all present new and damning information about how George W. Bush got moved to the front of the line to get in the Texas Air National Guard, and how he then went AWOL. I am putting every ounce of trust I have in my fellow Americans that a majority of them get this, get the injustice of it all, and get the sad, sick twisted irony of how it relates very, very much to our precious Election 2004."

* heres mmoores latest blog entry - after the speech when he apparently mentioned memogate - he doesnt mention it in the blog. he also mentions Going Upriver, the John Kerry documentary - go read for the nixon/oneill moment. beautiful. http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/blog/2004/10/conway-arkansas.php
