* btw - that nyt 16pager on da tubes is causing a real storm. somehow. as i mentioned the other day, none of this is new - but it is very detailed. its all quite odd that this tuff is somehow a revelation. or getting so much attention in the blogsphere. all of these things were apparent 2 years ago. not just the tubes - but every other stupid claim that they made. are people really still just catching up? the furor about this article kinda reminds me of the debates - its as tho people are somehow surprised that the president cant actually speak. its also as though people are somehow surprised that the reallybadmin lied to go to war. bizzarowrld. they lied. people died.
* if its true that the 16page nyt article is somehow significant, then maybe we've seen a shift. i warned about it a while back - there'll be a point where the media just collapses in on itself, trying to mend the chasm with an increasing number of bandaids to the point that it becomes impossible to keep the fantasy of 43 alive whilst simultaneously pretending to report on reality. up till now that has been tenuous but somehow achievable. we're gonna see some shiit in the next 4 months that we'd never even imagined.
