* "Kerry doesn't mind if America is humiliated before the whole world for its inability to conduct a free and fair election. The only thing that matters to Kerry is victory – victory at any cost." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41124
* imagine them playing "Hail to the Chief" in january with 43 and cheney waving, smiling, winking at each other. *shudder*
* did dog love hobbits? did he want them to be free? do we see them when we go to heaven? http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/10/1027_041027_homo_floresiensis.html
* apropos my 'endorsement' (doesnt that sound pratty!) of jonk - i think theyve run a pretty good campaign as well - cept for the bcci thing, and some of his language. not that i have a problem with him not sounding smart - but he didnt seem to recognize the value of the soundbite. which is prolly unforgivable. (there were a bunch of things that simply could have been phrased more effectively - using the same language - w/out dumbing things down. its not just that 'thinking' requires complexity - it was a much more fundamental error). it must be impossibly frustrating to assume that u are engaged in some sort of debate and then they come back with 'he used to believe in santa - and now he doesnt. snigger' - the repugs are interminably better at 'campaigning' - and owning the delivery channels makes it near impossible to compete. and by the time the dems have worked out how to game the system, the repugs will just change the rules again. if u assume that reality must somehow be an input, and the other guy doesnt, then the best u can do is hope to shadowbox. its like trying to play soccer, and the other team keeps picking the ball up and throwing it at the goal. the repugs smugly call it 'playing the ref'. 'thats politics'. but it isnt. with the media conspiring against jonk to the extent that most bushies think that saddam was abuot to wmd us, the dems are really up against it. (notwithstanding vote fraud et al)
* the alqaqaa spin is just so ridiculous. my brain is melting. facts simply dont matter. it melts my brain to watch 43 say 'uve gotta have all the facts'. im having fish for dinner - so the war should stop yesterday. watching him make that speech is is mindcrushing. not dissimilar to watching him on hannity. he says words that hes presumably sufficiently smart to understand, and know that they are categorically untrue, without flinching, and he can snigger, apparently honestly' on cue. its somehow unhuman. i know powell did it at the un - but it still amazes me. it seems to me the most likely end for 43 is when he melts into a pool of selfhatred with his 'soul' never bothering another neuron.
* aaronbrown on cnn is calling aqaqaa 'an explosive media moment' - they are quoting drudge and limbaugh at length in each stage - before then debunking the point they were making, and then moving onto the next version of the story and doing the same thing.
* there so much votefraud going on - i wont bother pointing to most of it - cos the details dont matter.
* my guess is that jonk is way ahead - 5+% - maybe substantially more. if it gets to something like 20%, then maybe they wont be able to resteal the presidency. properly independent exit polls will be the only test. except for the riots.
