* heres the economist reluctantly endorsing jonk "This year's battle has been between two deeply flawed men: George Bush, who has been a radical, transforming president but who has never seemed truly up to the job, let alone his own ambitions for it; and John Kerry, who often seems to have made up his mind conclusively about something only once, and that was 30 years ago." everyone seems to have drunk the flipflop koolaid. its incredible. is it really possible that when taking a look at jonks resume, the one thing that sticks out is his inconsistency? and the 2nd thing that apparently sticks out is that being flexible is a flaw. and jonk is 'deeply flawed' because of this flipflop thing. especially amazing is that its a sin to be flexible at a time when his opponent's major flaw is stubbornness. the brainwashing has been so damned effective. again, im not jonks greatest fan, and id rather vote for nader, but i dont understand the kneejerk reaction to be reluctant and cautious about jonk and frame it within the flipfloppery frame.
