* jeepers. the foxcrew are spastically desperate.
* the fnc crew even seem nervous about the senate
* btw - one of the overarching theme of this campaign is that it has been dirty - but i dont think that the case at all for the dnc. theyve just got bucketloads of material - if it sounds nasty, its just cos the evidence is so completely damning. the dems could have got a lot 'nastier' without ever stretching the truth.
* i think i just heard carlcameron on fox say that someone once committed suicide in the bathroom at the restaurant where jonk is eating tonight.
* tradesports has iowa, newmex and ohio at dead heat 50. florida 55. national 52.
* btw - i dont think ive *ever* heard of vote fraud or vote suppression or counting irregularities in oz. i think the closest we came to a dirty trick was when latham and howard bumped into each other on the trail and shook hands, and latham was a bit aggressive in his body posture.
* it looks like the ohio legal battle has turned to jonk. im a bit concerned that these well publicised battles, especially those that have been widely pre-empted, are often a mere smokescreen. meanwhile 30% are voting on machines. and fauxnews is worthy a gazillion votesuppression efforts.
* will fallujah 'happen' under the media fog of the election? what will sharon do?
* " Sen. John Kerry wrapped up a surprisingly one-sided victory in the race for 2004 newspaper endorsements Kerry holds a 208-169 lead in E&P's exclusive tally... This gives him an edge in the circulation of papers backing him of about 20 million to 14 million"

* apparently yukos has a tax problem
* ftr "Here's our pre-election summary of the misinformation we found during the Bush-Kerry presidential campaign." http://www.factcheck.org/article298m.html
* media equivalence (everyone hates kurtz): "At any given moment, the election narrative was about John Kerry's spacesuit and George Bush's suit bulge."
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A14460-2004Oct31.html
* speaking of which - how did the jonk campaign let jonk get seen in the spacesuit at all? or that stupid camoflage jacket or windsurfing. seriously. and somehow he didnt get overly canned for those shots of him with a football - either with jone, or alexandra.
* i wonder if the yesthatbadmin wished they hadnt played the howarddean scream so frequently. HIS WIFE WOULDNT EVEN JOIN THE TOUR.
* nice to see the furiousone on the stump blaming his mum on his being stubborn and his dad on him being inadequate to speak anglais. it reminded me of the pickles/barney/poem incident - which really ought to be retrieved from the memory hole. in some ways it was a more accurate reflection of these horrible people than jessicalynch or mission accomplished or saddams statue or baghdadthnxgiving. that one incident whored laura and whored literature and whored the media and whored 43s marriage - all to minimise the impact of 43 apparently dropping a dog - a story which i hadnt even heard, yet.
* i just saw a rabbit fight. fur everywhere. i messed with the territorial statusquo. rabbits hate that. there was shagging within minutes of the fight. and then more fighting. fur everywhere. rabbits dont make any sound when they fight.
* rabbits seem to be about 45% absolute black and the same white - with some 10% grey in between. i can only assume that this is a function of being domesticised. animals normally take the color of their environment - or occasionally the opposite.
* i have a new gray rabbit. its a 'loppy' - it has floppy ears. it looks like a koala. i dont think loppies would survive in the wild. having exquisitely designed mechanisms for hearing the slightest noise is really cool. except when they are completely limp and cant possibly work as designed. but it can be cute. in a dopey kinda way.
