* in response to this i wrote "i live in australia - i dont want all these dutch folk here - i want my kids to be able to feel safe on their bikes. if my bike gets stolen, ill know who took it. and i dont want these dutch folk taking our jobs. what makes them think they can come here anyway? why dont they stay in their own countries?australia is full already. those dutch had better not take our jobs - and they'd better learn to speak our language. and if they cant prove that they will never take advantage of our health system, or any welfare benefits, then they can stay the fuck at home. i want them means-tested at the border, and HIV tested, and cancer-tested - not just to see if they have any of them, but also to see if they have any possible genetic predisposition towards ill health. and if they can prove that theres no chance ill have to ever provide them, and that they wont try to bring the rest of their family here to take over *my* country, and they wont try to buy a house that i might like to buy myself, or take a job that i might like, then maybe they can come here - so long as they dont live in dutch ghettos - talking their language amongst themselves so none of us can understand what they are plotting."

* didja notice the media jujitsu on the hilla bombing? the people who died were 'lining up for jobs' - someone apparently decided that the 'the stupid insurgents are killing people who wanna guarantee their own security' line has actually morphed - it was almost as tho there is an awareness/decision that many people might have come to the realisation/undersatnding that maybe there is some legitimacy in the resistance blowing up folk who are joining the invaders. it was quite an astonishing switch. i still wanna know who puts out the memos?
