u go to a blogwar in the jamis you have.

WAR
* "ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans for a combined air and ground attack on targets in Iran if diplomacy fails to halt the Iranian nuclear programme." LINK

* "The administration announced it would back a European plan to offer incentives to Iran in return for stopping weapons work. But administration hard-liners describe the negotiations as mere "box-checking" to induce Europe to bring the Iran matter before the U.N. Security Council. And waiting there will be Bolton" LINK
derrrrrrrrrrrr

* "Condoleezza Rice said yesterday that al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are doing everything they can to get into the United States through Mexico and Canada." LINK
are they truly alq types? or just alq-linked? its so difficult to know which is which these days. 3 million mexicans cross the border illegally every year, how difficult do u reckon it would be for nefarious terrorist to do it? and why the fuck would they try to come in through canada?
As an aside, the ref'd article is an AP piece, and i noticed that they called condi "Miss Rice" which seemed odd - other versions of the same article simply called her 'Rice' - so apparently someone at the moonietimes added the 'Miss' for some reason, and they chose to add 'Miss', rather than any of the alternatives, such as "Dr."

* "Zarqawi has given ample consideration to assaults on the American homeland. ...the interrogated aide said al-Zarqawi has talked about hitting "soft targets" in the U.S., which could include "movie theaters, restaurants and schools.""
LINK
quick - raise the error alert. or change the color, or whatever system is in place these days - but go about your business as usual. this is a credible, non-specific threat. yada.

"Al-Zarqawi's aide also revealed that his boss, after pondering the absence of attacks in the U.S. in recent years, concluded that a lack of "willing martyrs" was to blame."

*
" Lebanon (Reuters) - *Hundreds of thousands* of people turned out for a Hizbollah rally against the United States on *Sunday*, even as a U.N. envoy met the Lebanese president to press demands for a Syrian pullout."
LINK
did u hear about that? that was yesterday. last week i predicted that last weeks protest would be disappeared in the media, and was kinda wrong, or 5 days early. or something. itll be interesting to contrast & compare the media coverage of the 'anti-syria' protest on monday.

* ftr, the above reuters story is number one on reuters' "top stories" list , but it doesnt warrant a mention on the AP's top20. of course. fuck i hate the AP.

* what happens if sharon gets murdered?

*
"Contrary to statements by prosecutors and the FBI's own chief, Robert Mueller, the February (FBI) report, obtained last week by ABC News, says the agency knows of no al-Qa'ida "sleeper" agents in the US."
LINK
please please please stop lying. "you're hurting america."

* g had someone close get ied'd. war sucks.

* "Talks between Kurdish leaders and a Shiite bloc to form the next Iraqi government have collapsed three days before the country's first fully elected parliament meets" LINK

* the ams are hoping to turn abug over to the iraqis. in separate news, the post-saddam iraqi admin has been heavily criticised for human-rights abuses.

* the nyt does a major story that weapons-site looting was comprehensive. didnt we know this before? ie before the stupid election. LINK
