the article refers to notgannon growing up in westchester, PA - which is of course where our friend nickberg came from... incidentally, nickbergs anniversary was a couple of days ago - about may 7 or 8 or thereabouts.
i mentioned the other day that both notgannon on sonberg had an odd connection to mr aziz - who among other things was President of the Iraqi American Council, a long-term PA resident, foxnews regular, neocon, crack-vial dealer involved with the russian mafia, who also spoke at those pre/pro-invasion clear-channel rallies...
aziz was also sonberg's business partner, and he was one of notgannons first interviews within a couple of weeks of him joining gopusa (gopusa seemed to be acting as aziz's agent).
in honour of sonberg's anniversary, lets recap a few of the sonberg oddities off the top of my head:
* he was arrested by the fbi before he died
* he was unheaded just after the abu.g thing broke - 'see, we might torture and kill our innocent prisoners, but those evil muslim savages unhead innocent people'
* berg was wearing an orange jumpsuit (as were the next 2 deheadees)
* the deheading video was doctored
* sonberg was apparently dead when he was unheaded
* dadberg was censored
* michaelmoore interviewed sonberg, unbenknownst to the berg family
* sonberg was hanging out at abu.g climbing towers and stuff - jut for fun, before he was arrested
* Moussaoui was using berg's email address way back when. Moussaoui of course is now facing the death penalty for not being involved in 911
* and of course, we were told that zarqawi did it the deed himself - he had recently grown his second leg, again.
how soon we forget...
