nervous

ok - so the Rove thing has gone batshit. everyone is up in arms. im nervous.

remember, rove had a sitdown with gregory on hardball on wednesday, and cheney had a sitdown with blitzer. both of them are famous for not giving interviews. go figure.

rove said this on hardball: "We are in a war. Some people may treat it as a law enforcement matter and be worried about indictments from the U.S. attorney from the southern district of New York. But we recognize this administration and the American people we are in a war and the only way you have a successful outcome in the war is to aim for a complete and total victory, which is exactly what we’re doing."

obviously this is a coordinated, planned media attack. (perhaps including porter goss' absurd binladen comments)

lets hope that they arent prepping the sheeple so they dont get all girly-men the next time theres an attack. imagine if 'iran' launched some sort of terrorist attack, say, this week. we wouldnt wanna go soft and try to put the perpetrators in jail, would we?

praps thats why they are so determined to get bolton to the UN, via regular means (for some reason). they wont even discuss a recess appointment (we are only a week away from the recess). and billfrist doesnt understand - maybe thats why he was woodshedded by blinky on tuesday.

if i was obl, and i hated freedom fries, a july 4 attack would be kinda symbolic. dontchya think?
