return train tickets to Luton
(this image is apparently from Luton at 7.21am, and is apparently the FearsomFour)
* The Mirror: "WAS IT SUICIDE? Why did they buy return train tickets to Luton? Why did they buy pay & display tickets for cars? Why were there no usual shouts of 'Allah Akhbar'? Why were bombs in bags and not on their bodies?
THE London bombers may have been duped into killing themselves so their secrets stayed hidden.
Police and MI5 are probing if the four men were told by their al-Qaeda controller they had time to escape after setting off timers. Instead, the devices exploded immediately." link
of course, this is rubbish - but its nice to see them barking up a different tree. the idea that they'd get seen together at Luton and at KingsX wouldnt make any sense if they were trying to get away.
* the Independent goes with the same story: "The reconstruction: 7/7 - What really happened?
Were the four bombers being controlled or acting alone?
Why did they buy return tickets if they were intending to die?" link
* meanwhile, we are on day 5 of the 'probable release' of the cctv footage from Kings Cross. it must be a state secret or something.
* the other thing is that if the bombers were somehow duped and were merely going to cause mass murder as per the above speculation, then the official story has another problem. we keep getting told how suicide bombers are zombie-like in a state of bliss considering their imminent meeting with the 72 virgins and all that. thats where the story of them laughing and joking and looking like they were going on holidays in the KingsX footage was supposed to fit in. the problem is that if they werent gonna suicide, then maybe you might expect them to be a bit more pensive or circumspect or nervous about whether they might be able to escape and all that.
* along the same lines, we also need to consider that if they knew they were gonna blow up the tube, even if they didnt expect to be blown up personally, then the likelihood of them being able to catch a train back to luton in the aftternoon had to be pretty limited.
it seems the outstanding questions are along the following lines:
a) did they intend to be suicide bombers?
b) did they intend to be bombers?
c) did they have bombs in their bags?
d) did they know they had bombs in their bags?
