still nervous

a few weeks, i wrote a post titled "Nervous" where i speculated that a combination of things was maybe pointing toward an imminent attack. (admittedly, its not the first time ive speculated that the signs point to the possibility of an imminent attack)

the signals that contributed to my nervousness were:
1) rove's 911 speech and the subsequent full-court-press
2) porter goss' "we know where osama is" comment
3) cheney's sitdown with blitzer
4) the egadministrations odd behaviour with respect to boltons UN nomination and their refusal to answer questions about a recess nomination and frist's woodshedding.

i speculated whether osama might choose july4 for an attack (on america).

in summing up, i said:
"lets hope that they arent prepping the sheeple so they dont get all girly-men the next time theres an attack. imagine if 'iran' launched some sort of terrorist attack, say, this week. we wouldnt wanna go soft and try to put the perpetrators in jail, would we?"

i wonder if i was on to something...

in other news, i caught a glimpse of brit hume today saying that theres now no doubt that the patriot act would be renewed in full.
