falling down the mountain. end up getting hurt.

re robin cooks death, there's this odd story floating around in the major press:
"There were unconfirmed reports last night that the former Foreign Secretary had suffered serious injuries after he collapsed, and fell further down the mountain." (link)
this sounds a little bit like 'the dead brazilian was wearing a bulky jacket and vaulted the turnstiles'.

it'll be interesting to see if this story turns out to be untrue...

i hope robin cook wasnt murdered - not just for what it says about the present, but for what it portends. *if* it was murder, i fear that it has something to do with a pre-emptive strike, rather than a cover-up for historical reasons.

i wonder if mi5/6 raided cooks home while he was on the mountain - we'll probably never no. i hope cook was smart enough to have a copy of his notes stored somewhere off-site. unfortunately david kelly apparently wasnt.
