mo lincoln group

The LAT has another article on Lincoln.

i dont think anyone has established why Lincoln got any contracts at all. My guess is that they are a cut-out for another client. we only know of one of their subcontractors - BKSH. we dont know how significant the BKSH contract was in dollar terms - but i've gotta imagine that BKSH, or another such firm, is getting the bulk of the sub-contracts.

methinx that might be the answer to the mysterious group. if thats the case, then there must be a reason for it... is there a problem giving the money directly to charlie black and joe allbaugh? it'd be somehow comforting to know that they had at least some shame... or more likely, they thought it might look bad if the am.mil and chalabi were using the same propagandist, directly. hence the cut-out. i'd love to get a list of all the articles that 'lincoln' planted, and see if there was a chalabi-bias. rendon is also doing work in iraq 'for the Pentagon' - i wonder if there is an intermediary...

from the LAT piece, i was interested in this (particularly):
"Documents obtained by the Times show that Lincoln Group is developing plans to expand its operations into Afghanistan under new Pentagon contracts."
which reminded me of this, which says that Rendon got $5m in afghanistan for the past 18 months. the afghans dont want the service, but the pentagon keeps ramming the dollars into rendon's pockets.

i also loved this - lincoln got a 2-month, $20m contract to help in al-anbar when the americans were dropping napalm on fallujah - part of lincoln's answer? Internet pop-up advertisements! i would pay so much money to see those. perhaps they could hack into icq and micro-target their messages. "if you are in the internet cafe on the corder of 4th and D, get the fuck out! now! for your own safety! 5-4-3-2-beeeeeeeeeeep"
