as an aside, one of my brothers is visiting - 22yo - from Leeds. he was complaining about how of 'them' there are in Leeds (pakistani and bangladeshi, primarily, from memory) - and he said the oddest thing: "All of the 'Wanted' posters are dominated by pakis."! How's that for a meme?? I'm pretty sure that my brother has never seen a Wanted poster in his life, but somehow this meme exists in his mind - simultaneously 'demonstrating' that a) darkies are criminals b) 'they' are taking over.
