Sibel, Operation Diamondback

As i mentioned, Sibel sent me three articles which she has quoted before, but we also get the benefit of her emphasis and highlighting. Her highlighted version of Josh Myer's article is here

In the back of my mind, I've been wondering about this sentence from that article: "Karni then contacted Zeki Bilmen, head of Giza Technologies of Secaucus, N.J."
(her emphasis) - in particular, i wonderered whether she intentionally, or accidentally underlined the location - and if it was intentional, what it might mean.

Incidentally, Chris Deliso's article says:
"Further, she adds, "the Brewster Jennings network was very active in Turkey and with the Turkish community in the U.S. during the late 1990s, 2000, and 2001 … in places like Chicago, Boston, and Paterson, N.J.""
That "Paterson" reference is quite specific. Who is she talking about? It turns out that Paterson is just 10 miles from Secaucus (link).

Incidentally, I stumbled across another story today about a fascinating FBI operation from June 01 called Operation Diamondback- a $30m sting operation that involved Bin Laden, heroin, the ISI, nuclear components - not least that Michael Chertoff was apparently nefariously involved - and a whole bunch of other fascinating stuff.
"Federal agents involved in the case later express puzzlement that Washington higher-ups did not make the case a higher priority, pointing out that bin Laden could have gotten a nuclear bomb if the deal was for real. Agents on the case complain that the FBI did not make the case a counterterrorism matter, which would have improved bureaucratic backing and opened access to FBI information and US intelligence from around the world."
Incidentally, in August 01, the informant in Operation Diamondback, Randy Glass, told Senators Bob Graham and Wexlor that the WTC was about to be attacked. On 911, Graham was hanging out with ISI's Mahmood (who had recently given Atta $100k), and Porter Goss. (Graham went on to co-chair 911comm)

It turns out the sting was in Jersey City, just 3 miles from Secaucus.

Are these 3 references to the same geographic region related? What was Sibel talking about when she mentioned Paterson, N.J.?

Lukery,
Is the fact that Ahmood gave Atta $100k confirmed? If I recall, the claim originally came from an Indian newspaper, which later backed off. Since India and Pakistan are always at each others throats, the claim has to be held in slight suspicion.

mike - thanks for the ongoing feedback.

i'm not entirely sure whether he gave the $100k to Atta - there are differing accounts.

i can tell you that sibel pointed to my reference of Mahmood, saying: "You picked the Zogby report, even though it was written a while ago (good research); cleverly put it together with Mahmud, Grossman, and even Brewster Jennings."

For one reason or other, she is pointing to Mahmud as being involved and relevant - presumably linking the ISI directly to 911. if that is true, then whoever ordered the $100k delivered to Atta is mostly irrelevant.

Paterson, NJ has one of the largest Turkish-American communities on the East Coast.
