bipartisan: bogus truism

* deliso on DPW: "For what is being affirmed here is not some great victory for America’s security over those scheming Ay-rabs, but the bogus truism that if an agreement can be depicted as "bipartisan," it must necessarily convey the truth. And this is what is so depressing about the whole debacle." (link)
ftr, i'm still not convinced that 'transfer to an american entity' means *anything* - but they bought themselves a bunch of headlines and breathing space

* joe cannon thinks that the coolest part of the claude allen story is that he worked at Baker & Bots (sic) - joe thinks we should offer a claude a talk&walk deal. i agree.

* ron continues his work (more here) into "National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR) president Amy Ridenour and her "work" while convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff served on her board of directors." - the ncppr sent rawstory a cease&desist letter - which was a really dumb move. btw - i used to be a really big stoli fan :-)

what kills me about the claude allen story (in an LOL way), is that he's taken his lowlife shit straight out of the 'how to be a junkie' playbook. and yes, i know from prior experience, although not very lately.
