bush: incompetent, idiot, liar

* jane: "Once again the age old question rears its head -- when the revolution comes, who will be the first against the wall, the Democratic pundits or the Democratic consultants? Today the consultants win.
I shouldn't have to point this out either, but I will: any Democrat looking to score points in the blogosphere right now would do well to find their voice on (censure), sooner rather than later."

* pew polling: "The single word most frequently associated with George W. Bush today is "incompetent,"and close behind are two other increasingly mentioned descriptors: "idiot" and "liar." All three are mentioned far more often today than a year ago."

* "Welson now says that he's not sure the chart had a picture of Atta, as he has sometimes maintained, and that he has been relying on the memory of an intelligence analyst who helped produce it... []
Yet even as his story triggers more and more questions, Weldon is making explosive new allegations. He says a high-level source has told him that terrorist leader Osama bin Laden has died in Iran, where he has been in hiding." (link)
larisa? laura?

* "For the poll released Feb. 28, CBS contacted 272 Republicans, 409 Democrats and 337 Independents. Conservative critics demanded those results were unfair. (bush was at 34%)... But for the most recent CBS poll, the results were based on the opinions of 358 Republicans, 366 Democrats and 412 Independents. Note the nearly 30 percent increase in Republicans, the 10 percent decrease in Democrats, and the fact that the final CBS poll numbers did not budge one inch." (link)

* "Roberts said the major impediment to completing the (Phase Two) section on the Bush administration's statements was the sheer number of them — more than 300, from the president as well as his top staff. " (link)

Weldon is infuriating. Able Danger exists in a vacuum? IMO, he is full of it. And Lehman can't conceive that BOTH Republicans and Democrats conspired to lie their asses off. I assume he is referring to the same parties that have sold the public a bogus WoT and sit by as W destabilizes the world and leads the US into ruin.

weldon is batshit. laura and larisa both seem to think he is generally 'innocent-but-stupid' - i wish he'd stick to what he is good at - whatever that is...

Weldon is good at writing fearmongering books about Iran. His source, codename Ali, has alleged links to (the untrustworthy) Manoucher Ghorbanifar.

yeah - ali is, in fact, ghorba -

that book was rubbish - remember he even walked from PA(?) to DC! what a spaz.
