SCLM, please STFU

* greg mitchell takes a look at the SCLM editorials on the 3rd anniversary of the invasion and is rightfully horrified. i liked this from the LAT:
"Much of the mocking by Bush critics about the supposed absurdity of the administration's claims about weapons of mass destruction is revisionist nonsense."
'mocking' doesnt even come close to describing how we feel.

The LAT also says this:
"The heroism of U.S. forces and of ordinary Iraqis going about their daily lives is inspiring."
i've seen a lot of this sort of tripe lately (i'll ignore the bit about the amgrunts) - but
  • a) i'm not sure what the alternative is to 'going about their daily lives' - apart from dying, or possibly switching to 'weekly lives'
  • b) there is nothing remotely heroic about 'going about their daily lives'
  • c) it sure as hell isnt inspiring
so please STFU.
