the interesting thing is how inept these people are.

* "In Israel, Baruch Marzel, a parliamentary candidate in the upcoming elections has called for the assassination of well-known Israeli peace activist Uri Avnery. Marzel, who leads the National Jewish Front, said Israeli Defense Forces should target Uri Avnery, who leads the peace group Gush Shalom. Marzel’s comments came after Avnery compared a Palestinian group’s assassination of a former Israeli cabinet minister to Israel’s policy of killing militant Palestinian leaders." (link)

* "In Virginia Tuesday, the FBI was handed further embarrassment at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui. The supervisor of the agency’s international terrorism division testified he had not read a memo delivered in August 2001 that recommended an investigation of Moussaoui as a possible hijacker. The testimony of Michael Rolince, now retired, came after Monday’s testimony from FBI agent Greg Samit that he spent four weeks trying to convince his superiors Moussaoui posed a security risk. According to Samit, FBI officials ignored his warnings." (link)

* "In Bolivia, an American man has been arrested along with an Uruguayan woman for bombing two hotels in La Paz. Two people died and at least seven were injured in the blasts. The attacks were denounced by the Bolivian government. President Evo Morales said "This American was putting bombs in hotels. The U.S. government fights terrorism, and they send us terrorists." Police initially identified the American as 24-year-old Claudio Lestad of New Orleans but he reportedly used several other names. Police said the he might be mentally ill." (link)

"So who arranged for MZM to get that first $25,000 contract via the Interior Department's innovative franchise outfit, that opened the door to the hundred million dollars in the other contracts? One hint. The next contract MZM received was just three days later from the Defense Department's own IT contracting unit, DITCO, and while it was for only roughly half a million dollars, it was swiftly followed by two contracts for several million dollars. I believe those came from the Army National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, whose director's son was hired by MZM, one of many NGIC officials and relatives hired by the company."
