Christine DeLay and Favorite Charites. Again.

egads. NYT on the Wives Club:
"Christine A. DeLay, Mr. DeLay's wife, received $115,000 in consulting fees from 1998 to 2002 from a lobbying firm set up by her husband's former chief of staff, Edwin A. Buckham, who is also under scrutiny by the Justice Department because of his lobbying contacts with Mr. DeLay's House office.

Although there is no suggestion of any criminal investigation focused on Mrs. DeLay, lawyers involved in the investigation say prosecutors have asked about the circumstances of her hiring by Mr. Buckham and whether it was an effort to influence Mr. DeLay...

A lawyer for the DeLays, Richard Cullen, said Mrs. DeLay had been employed by Mr. Buckham's firm, the Alexander Strategy Group, to gather information on the favorite charities of members of Congress. "Christine DeLay is a very talented woman with a keen political mind, and the project she was working on was one that had substance and added value to Alexander," he said."
No, no and no.

I'm tired of this nonsense spin. As I keep saying (grrrr) - this is all a lie. Again, from March 02:
"DeLay's financial reports also show that his wife, Christine DeLay, receives a salary from the Alexander Strategy Group. Roy (DeLay's communications director), however, explained that her net annual pay of about $40,000 a year is for her job as chief executive officer of Americans for a Republican Majority, a political action committee whose chairman is her husband.

DeLay's wife is paid through the Alexander Strategy Group primarily as a bookkeeping arrangement, Roy said. She does not keep an office at the firm and often works out of the couple's home, he said. The lobbying firm works for Americans for a Republican Majority as a consultant and received more than $200,000 since July 2000, according to the committee's financial reports.

Christine DeLay's salary was paid by money from the political action committee, Roy said."

This is a Plame-neocons site, but some discussion has occurred re 9/11.

So for those interested there is open letter from the 9-11 Scholars for Truth to Lloyd's of London (who lost heavily on 9/11 WTC payouts). Lloyds have a civil action for negligence in place against Citigroup Construction Defendants and AMEC PLC ("Citigroup-AMEC"). ST911 are offering their services as expert witnesses and encouraging Lloyds to convert it into a RICO action alleging arson and insurance fraud by the private equity group (CAI) together with the Bonanno crime family of New York and Montreal [including an alleged former Bonanno accountant Alfonso Gagliano who on 9/11 was Canadian Minister of Public Works]. ST911 says these two groups invested in the Citigroup-AMEC partnership.

ST911 alleges "Citigroup-AMEC partners procured 'al-Qaeda' hit teams through the Canadian ministry of Public Works under Alfonso Gagliano. These teams first simulated, then executed the hijackings of aircraft during the NORAD war games of June and September 2001. The U.S. Air Force was duped into standing down so that automatic-landing telemetry could guide 'al-Qaeda' into its targets."

"We allege the Citigroup-AMEC partners sabotaged the diesel generators to feed fires lit by arsonists on the 11th, 12th or 13th floors of WTC7 where the Securities & Exchange Commission lost between 3,000 to 4,000 files. The SEC files contained evidence of insider trading by Citigroup-AMEC...."

"We allege that the Citigroup-AMEC partnership now conspired to remove and destroy evidence of arson before filing bogus property insurance claims in an arrangement with Larry Silverstein and Silverstein Properties..."

"We allege that the Citigroup-AMEC partnership employed Mob truckers and GPS monitoring systems on all trucks to remove evidence of arson and sabotage from Ground Zero..."

"We note that AMEC's partners had just finished refurbishing the Pentagon's US Navy Command Center which was destroyed in a direct hit by Flight 77 on 9/11...."

"We also note that AMEC was awarded the contract to remove debris and destroy evidence from the Pentagon 9/11 site with what appears to be the same M.O. and logic - i.e. to support an insurance fraud - as AMEC's destruction of evidence from Ground Zero in Manhattan. "

Interesting development.
