Give me a W!

comment of the day:
George W is such a fun guy. He is still a cheerleader at heart, saying to the German Chancellor, "Give me a W!" And like the Village People, that's what she gave him. Laura and Condi, please note.

lol, i think i actually had the comment of the day, posted at my site and over at the Carpetbagger when i said 'maybe he thought he was being all cute, trying to get her to quit using the formal ‘Sie’ and ‘du’ him instead?'

at least one later commenter called it 'post of the day' and another cited it as well.

*preening like a proudtard* :-)

havent got to your place yet - i stand corrected :-)

Duh, I'm just getting it, "du" him instead, indeed. Verrrrry fuuuuny.

I think the shoulder rub was his Alpha Male shit, a way to make HER, a woman, feel like a lesser leader. He surely wouldn't give a guy leader a shoulder rub, not in public anyway.

BARFFF

yup, his behavior is totally outrageous. i agree that's it's a power thing. and anywhere else, he'd be brought up on sexual harassment charges.

sometimes i wonder if he's aware of how really small he is, inside. and then i think 'nah, no way.'

fucker.

aware? of anything? huh!

'thank you halliburton for your wondrous camps and thank you mr prezn--i mean, mr president. i wuv U.

'god bless amerik--OW! i mean, god bless america! god bless george bush! long may he wave!'

ps, apologies for the above but i couldn't resist.

rimone: long may he waver!

wrong!

CNN: GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: I think the American people know my style of leadership, they know what to expect, and they understand that THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF MUST NOT WAVER.

Anonymous said...

LMAO! yes, long may he waver (i never saw that quote). :-)

lukery said...

omg - CNNI literally had it in one of their station ID pieces for the longest time - perhaps even from before the 04 election? (perhaps they still do?)

(and he sez it real tuff-like)

Anonymous said...

i don't get CNN and from what i've read, i'm pleased about that.

only soft things like jello can waver. masculine men like our incredibly rock-hard preznit totally can't and won't, EVER.

lukery said...

oh - it's an amazing soundbite. i'll listen out for it and let you know if they are STILL playing it. they use a 'still' of him with steely jaw. it's quite amazing.

btw - cnni is a thousand times better than cnn. it's kinda like a baby bbc - although, to be honest, i'd probably prefer to have cnn - cos i mostly only watch the cable news to learn what the TalkingPoints are - not to learn anything - and the CNN TP's are a lot more transparent.
