Speaking of unexpected calls from old friends...

According to Intel Centre, a private contractor providing counterterrorism support work to the intelligence community, a new OSBL tape is coming soon in which Osama will reportedly address events in Gaza and Lebanon.

That's the second time I've seen the name IntelCenter come up, on just that story. Didn't spot anything on a quick SourceWatch search and forgot it. Rooting around, there's a diary at Kos on founder Ben Venzke, a DU journal by Up2Late, a blog post at The Truth Will Set You Free, and an Arkin blog at WaPo (reproduced at GlobalResearch. Not particularly complimentary stuff.

What do we know about Venzke, other than that, as CEO, he gives out his personal e-mail address for suggestions; and that his company 3-1/2 yrs ago was under threat of suit from Intel Corp, prompting him to mail out a request for examples of the use of 'intel' or 'intelligence' to a Yahoo group list?

(skeptical? maybe just a bit...)

thnx D.

I saw that at ABC. It's a remarkable early-warning-system they've got (arkin reference intentional).
