everything's personal when you're a person

* another great olbermann video. keith:
"And it becomes necessary to reach back into our history, for yet another quote, from yet another time and to ask it of Mr. Bush:

“Have you no sense of decency, sir?"
* Rimone, quoting someone or other:
"'everything's personal when you're a person.'"

i was quoting from this terrific film called 'Fallen' w/Denzel Washington, John Goodman, James Gandolfini (the Tony Soprano dude), Donald Sutherland and Elias Koteas who plays a murderer on his way to execution. they use two Rolling Stones tunes to very good effect, both at the beginning and at the very end.

it's about how the Devil (or Satan or whomever) reaches EVERYone eventually, 'one by one--that's the way we do it.' and how exactly the Fallen passes the spirit of the Devil on, from one person to another. think 'tiiiime is on my side--yes it is...'

and the end shows this cute little kitty running off to the tune of 'sympathy for the devil.' rent the film, y'all; it's totally worth it.

you have no idea how relaxing it is, after more than 14 hours/day reading news to sit down w/a good film at night (w/ or w/o smoke).

you're missing a lot. i bet you don't even 'get' TBogg cause he refers to films very muchly.

you owe it to yourself to give it up for a few hrs every night. fuck it, i'm coming down there w/my 200+ vids and over 100 DVDs. then i shall torture you w/hilarity interspersed w/good stuff that actually makes one think (more).
