"Damn, I had managed to avoid getting dizzy with Novak's changing story. But now I'm laughing so hard I'm faint!!!"* novak:
"First, Armitage did not, as he now indicates, merely pass on something he had heard and that he ‘‘thought’’ might be so. Rather, he identified to me the CIA division where Mrs. Wilson worked, and said flatly that she recommended the mission to Niger by her husband, former Amb. Joseph Wilson.ha! get ready for the next round
Second, Armitage did not slip me this information as idle chitchat, as he now suggests. He made clear he considered it especially suited for my column."
* emptywheel:
"The cocktail weenie class would like to have you believe Armitage's revelation of information that doesn't merit an IIPA violation and wasn't even the most important part of the Novak column somehow exonerates Dick and Libby for plotting to out a CIA spy."

Novak and Armitage are both such greasy little worms. They believe they are immune from prosecution. If I were Fitzgerald, they'd both get the full measure of punishment.
Justice delayed is justice denied--especially with this case. Let us pray: oh Gawd, please let Patrick Fitzgerald and the grand jury tender some major indictments in the Plame case, by about mid-October if you don't mind. We've had so much more than enough. AMEN!
AMEN!!! AMEN!!!
