speaking of drugs

* Raimondo:
"Iran, the latest target of the regime-changers, is in America's sights, and we aren't going to let such a paltry consideration as the facts get in our way. Hoekstra-Harman have no interest in reality: their "report" is war propaganda, pure and simple.
[]
Harman and her Democratic colleagues have no dispute with the Republicans – and the far-right neocons epitomized by Perle – when it comes to Iran. Both are determined to protect Israeli interests, at the expense of American interests, by threatening to go to war if Iran continues to pursue its apparent goal of joining the nuclear club, along with its neighbors, Israel and Pakistan."
* Raimondo:
"Check out the Sept. 25 issue of The American Conservative for my article on the forgotten legacy of 9/11 – the still-mysterious anthrax attacks. "
if anyone sees a verion of that online, can you please let me know? thnx. (or send me a scan or something)

* AHN:
"Senior Syrian government official have accused the US of being behind Tuesday's assault on its own embassy in downtown Damascus.

A Baath party official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told WorldNetDaily, "We in the government are 100 percent sure America was behind this attack, which is not the same as other attacks by Islamic groups."

He explained, "Only the Americans can succeed in carrying out an attack just 200 meters from President Bashar Assad's residence in the most heavily guarded section of Syria."

The official charged that Washington had orchestrated the attack to "prove Syria is filled with terrorists and to put us in a weak position" in order to extract political concessions. Following the attack, Bush administration officials said they hoped the incident had convinced Damascus of the dangers of Islamic terror and the need to cooperate with the West against the phenomenon."
* Daily Telegraph via ron:
"Pakistan's credibility as a leading ally in the war on terrorism was called into question last night when it emerged that President Pervez Musharraf's government had authorised the release from jail of thousands of Taliban fighters caught fighting coalition forces in Afghanistan."
(for some reason, Ron is on a Pakistan/bin Laden binge at the moment. i hope that means he's seriously on the story and is about to bust it wide open)

* speaking of drugs:
"The low prices of many drugs suggests that they are readily available throughout the (UK) and that police and customs are losing the war on drugs.

A new survey of 20 cities and towns in the UK provides an insight into emerging trends, offering a level of local detail rarely seen before. The report by the charity DrugScope found that dealers have been increasingly offering cut-price drugs, with heroin costing £5 a bag in Middlesbrough, and ecstasy as little as 75p a tablet in Cardiff.... The cheapest cocaine, £35 a gram, is available in Birmingham and Liverpool"
oh to be young again.

* I got a hit to the blog from www.pkblogs.com/wotisitgood4 - what is pkblogs?
Is your blog blocked in India, Pakistan, Iran or China?

If Yes then you can still access your blog anytime using pkblogs free Blog Gateway.
(I don't really think that I'm blocked in any region - but kinda funny nonetheless. (There's only one outta those four countries that might be interested in blocking me.))

* for those of you trying to untangle the italian verbiage in the busholini pic, it is 'mostly nonsense, but somehow seems to fit' - lol.

Actually, it's not nonsense. In essence it says that Busholini is happy with his exercise in Iraq and on the brink of invading Iran and wants everyone to stay out of his business.
