It's a privilege. I'm what is referred to in the midwest as a "common dick"; that is, just an average individual. It's not a term of derision, but it does mean nothing special. (If one uses the term to appropriately describe others, its meaning becomes more evident.) I only have one message, the same dumb shit over and over: I'm the new mainstream, middle-of-the-road person who is mad and tired of seeing the few richest people in the world plunder it. (It isn't even good for them, but they enjoy watching the rest of us suffer so much it doesn't matter.) I know it's always been like this and will probably go on forever. Financially, I've suffered more than words can say during these social psychology experiments called conservative leadership in Washington. I won't stop telling people about it because I can rationalize it's futile and I look dumb. Experience tells me if a few more common dicks will speak up, people change their minds and things get better. It's an honor and my good fortune to share this unwanted whining in such good company.

I appreciate having had an opportunity to lobby Hollywood for Flashdance II. Apparently, the studios were listening as my sources tell me the long awaited sequel is finally in preproduction.
