* i cant believe 43 did the morning in america thing in his closing (via a west texas painting)

* it was fun to see that recent la times article with the grunts complaining. the interesting thing is how infrequently we have seen this kind of 'speaking out' - u might remember perhaps a year or so ago when there were grunts *on tv * saying 'if rumsfeld was here right now, id ask for his resignation' - but we havent seen much of it since. (and its a nice reminder just how bad things were a year ago that grunts were saying that - and things have got a lot worse since). similarly, we havent seen (heard) any fragging cept for that pre-invasion thing in kuwait.

* if dog wants everyone to be free, why arent most people 'free'? and why has dog taken so long to spread freedom? how many thousands of years does it take?

* if 'just following orders' isnt a defence, and if the war is illegal, then isnt every grunt compelled to desert?

* can elliot spitzer save us all?

* its odd that the zogby/nyc/911 poll didnt get much media

* the aermicans dont know where zarq is. neither does the iraqi govt. neither do fallujahans. so now we are gonna 'smash' fallujah. are they gonna demand that paris hand over obl or suffer serious consequences? or melbourne? or mumbai? its all so stupid and dangerous and i cant stand it.
