from this article in the Guardian:
* "A new army special forces regiment was involved in the operation that led to the killing of an innocent man at Stockwell tube station... It is believed to be the first time the new regiment was engaged in an operation."
lets hope they get better with some practise.
* "The Independent Police Complaints Commission is conducting an inquiry into the shooting. It is certain to include the role of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, and also issues relating to the false identification of the victim, and whether CCTV pictures of the failed bombers were available at the time."
ummm - even i know that the pictures were available.
* "Another question is why the Brazilian - a suspected suicide bomber - was allowed to get on to a London bus when two buses had already been targeted."
indeed.
* "Mr De Menezes was targeted because he was seen coming out of a three-storey block of nine flats, Corfe House in Tulse Hill, south London, identified as a building linked to the failed July 21 bombers."
alright, ive talked about this before. how many flats are there in the building? and how are they numbered? it should be fucking easy right? i think this '3 story' part is new information. we know that there was a flat number 17, and a flat #21. id like to see a map of the building - it seems that there were (at least) 7 flats on the first floor, and then a single flat on each of the second and third. they must be sweet apartments - apart from the fact that living there can get you killed. that part would suck.
its probably not important, but given all the other lies about this poor dead innocent guy, you'd think they'd start trying to get some things right - and given that all the other lies have been to cover their tracks, im also suspicious about this one.
