When people ask what year I was born, I tell them it was so long ago, it's practically BC.
Today's my daughter's birthday, so we'll celebrate together over the weekend. With grandkids, we do bulk birthdays now.

In this instance, Luke = funny man, because of how he artfully spun your self-disparaging age reference('BC') into his own clever compliment.
